while in nyc on business, director thomas noesner walked around the city with a canon 5d and created what he sees as “the beat of ny”. if you pay close attention you will notice the soundtrack to this piece is built around the drummer in the subway station.

quite a few “tourist” shots in here.. but this is wonderful work regardless.

when you hand someone a dollar, do you do it vertically or horizontally? dowling duncan (awesome name) believes we deal with money vertically more often, so much so, mr. duncan has taken it upon himself to redesign our currency. not only did he remix the layout he also replaced the faces that have appeared on our money as well.

oh the rappers would love this… “i got a pocket full of ‘dem obamas”

let the debates begin…

cool docu series featuring 9 abstract artists discussing their recent creative creations with their most supportive critics, their parents. shot in a simple environment the unique spin of this series, is that the viewer (you) don’t see the creations of these artists, you just focus on the conversation between the artist and his / her parents. i appreciate the fact that i’m left wondering… i wish more things in life today kept us wondering.

** one must ponder how an episode of this series featuring montana fishburne and her father would play out.
