in less than 60 minutes a young man that has never won an nba championship will literally “take over” one hour of espn programming (advertising time included!!) to tell the world where he will play his next chapter of professional basketball.

now, i know about as much about sports as i do astrophysics. but something is wrong here… very, very wrong. i totally get the awesomeness of lebron james as well as the business acumen of his management team. lebron career will be cemented in the annals of nba history.  however, i grew up in a time of a player by the name of michael “air” jordan and never witnessed an event of this magnitude… even after his airness won three nba titles, retried, and came back again to win 3 more titles. read that last sentence one more time if need be….
